I share my house in Northwest Raleigh with my son , three Maine Coon cats and one tubby, "little" rescued, shorthaired Tabby cat.
We moved to Raleigh from Vermont in 1989. In 1995, when I needed to return to work, I decided to start a petsitting service instead of continuing with my career in medical research. As a hobby I have taken care of other peoples' animals, from hamsters to horses, for the last 30 years. So expanding my hobby that I loved into a business allowed me to have the best of both worlds.
Keeping my client base small and remaining the only caregiver allows me to do what I enjoy, which is,loving all furry creatures.
When you enjoy what you do for a living, it shows!
The wonderful creatures that my clients allow me to share with them become "temporarily" part of my family.
